The genre roped me back in. The success of the first game (which I still can't grasp) was amazing, so I couldn't help but make it better and I started working on it again.

So here I am. 5 months into development on The Last Stand 2 and it's almost done.

A question: If we are at 2 level, and we found a survivor, we have only the shitty handgun, what the survivor can do meanwhile he sees how we own zombies? We can´t give him a weapon! :(

I'm going to guess how the game begins.

While the survivors are on the helicopter, some leaping zombies (Love to see those in the game) Grab on, and drag the helicopter down.

After the crash, the player is the last one left, and he has only a handgun.

(Would have love to see codes used, if you're given a certain code at the end of the first game, and you entered it in the second one, the beginning would change and you would have more surviors and/or weapons, but that would take a hell of a lot of coding)

Plus, would this new search mechanic would also let us keep more than one of the same weapon?

Anyway, really looking foward to the second game, looks awesome. First one was great, I even got my brother hooked on it (and he doesn't even play browser games). Hope theres another weapon like that Huge Sniper (Berrett or something like that), that was an awesome gun. Can't wait to play it, get it finished!

Anyway, I must say that I'm very much looking foward to playing, rating and reviewing TLS 2. Make no mistake though, I WILL be reviewing it fairly and honestly. On the off chance that TLS 2 fails to fly, you'll know about it, from me at least. This is because I follow the philosophy that being honest with game designers about their games is the best way to go, just as film critics (the good ones anyway) are brutally honest with filmmakers...

Despite that, I think you've shown yourself to be a great game design regardless. You don't have anything to prove, and you're only making TLS 2 for the love of it, which I think is fantastic! :D

Is there any story? I never actually beat Last Stand, i got to like Night 19 and i had all the weapons and I thought that that was it, theres no more, i thought it just goes to endless nights so I quit. Later i saw the badge on kong and realized 1 more night and I would've finished ;(

The survivors handle themselves pretty well, they can use most of the guns you find.

As for them going missing, let's just say that don't go missing in the same way they did in the first game. If they do you'll be close enough to make sure their weapons stay with you.

Guys... this shouldn't be in competition with GTA IV. There both entirely different games. This is free. This is accessable to all. It's a defence game, GTA is not. It has zombies, GTA dosen't. It's a flash game, GTA is not. Now it could compete with dead frontier, which is promised not to be released later than Sunday, but not a console game. Both are in completely different areas. It's like compairing a house to a dog. It makes no sence. I don't even really like GTA. I'm not planning on buying it. However, I do plan on playing this.

Some suggestions -
- Different endings
- Hot girl zombies (I know it sounds sick but it will get more people)
- If there are going to be boss battles (hopefully), for the background music i would have to recommend either "Take this life - in flames" OR "Fucking bow down - Born of Osiris".

I have some suggestions.

Rules of combat - Assign your survivors specific targets...like,the survivor in the back can be assigned long range targets,the 2 with a UMP and maybe and AK can take midrange,while shotguns to take closest targets. Or you can just make it in general if you're lazy.

Random events - Meh,just random events.
Such as a military helicopter coming and dropping off some troops to enforce your garrison.
Or maybe,zombies attacking early and catching you off guard,making a long day and them pulling off some damage to your barricade.
One last thing,a survivor finding a random weapon. It would be kind of wierd,but what I mean is,not finding the next gun,but just one picked at random. Like,if you get lucky enough,you search for weapons and you get the next gun,but also like something far above that,like an AK or an M249.

7/5 stars, man.

It's way better than the first one, which was amazing completely, making this the best flash known to mandkind.

And a third one... that would send me shooting up walls and it would be the best thing humanity has experienced! A survival mode would be nice for that version. or maybe you can also work on other games. Or maybe games that follow the same story, but a different engine. Like you play as a military person and shoot zombies on a feild, or you make an arcade style FPS, which would be completely awsome.

Three flashes here and you get a golden batting average!

Seriously newgrounds needs to reinvent their rating system for this game its just too good. Only thing was that it was a little on the easy side but i did go through it without visiting every city so i'll HAVE to play it again for sure :). This could seriously be put on xboxlivearcade or something. I'd buy it over all the other sub-par games out there. In short inf/5 can't wait till you put it here on newgrounds!

Bug report time!

Okay, here's a few bugs I caught(only two, very impressive):

-When I play the game a second time, I find that all the houses have been raided, making me stuck. So I have to refresh the page. :(

-When I finish the game, sometimes, the survivors appear on the main menu.

And suggestions if you plan on making a 3rd one, hopefully a remake of this an the first in one as like a deluxe edition:

-A survival mode were you see how long you last. There would be no daytime in this mode.

-High Scores, :D

-Multiplayer, were one guy controls another survivor.

That's all I can think of for now.

So for the second time I manage to get to jonestown, but that's it. From there I can't travel anywhere. At first I thought it was just a random bug, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I have supply for 5 days, and if that's the problem, I should at least be able to travel back to the towns I didn't visit to be able to gather more.

Dont get me wrong, I liked the first last stand, but the second, I think it was to rushed, to many glitch and bug. I found almost no survivors and I raided all the house! I hope when ur submiting this game to NG, the glitches will be fixed and the difficulty could be choose, cause its way to hard. Overall 6/10. Just not the good game it used to be...

look i have idea, look, you now how you have to click and search places on ls2, well, why dont you make it wee you move to places and your on a timer, during daylight, zombies will be a low number, as you construct your barracade or looking into places, consumes time doing it, now when itenters night, you hve to quickly run back to the barracade with everyone, cause zombie will come at you, getting hit will lower your health, when you die, everyone dies. just a thought ive been thinking about.

I gotta be honest with you, it's a little too hard. I couldn't make it to the last level in time, and the M4 SUCKS ASS. You have to fix that. Id don't think anyone could take 10 shots to the head with an assault rifle! Also, the grenades NEVER go where I want them to, and I always die. Fix that up please.

Played it on Armor Games. What a sweet game. 10/10. The first and the second are two of the best games I've ever played. The new one has everything you could imagine in this game. I've occasionally thought, "what would it be like to have a 2nd last stand?" and I've also thought of some of the gun ideas. You included ones I imagined but didn't expect. The gun trade off to your group is extremely helpful. Once again, fantastic game.
